The Saboteur preview Xbox 360
The Saboteur is a World War II game with a difference, and not just that a lot of the game is in black and white. It's a bold open-world game, The Saboteur, casting you as an ex-driver who must find his way back to Paris to the Resistance. Just over half the game occurs in the capital, and the visuals really are quite striking. To see what we thought of our time with the game, read our Saboteur preview in this issue of 360Zine, where you will also find an exclusive interview with the developers. Darksiders: Wrath of War preview Xbox 360
Darksiders: Wrath of War is not as linear or simple a game as you might imagine at first glance. Darksiders certainly has a touch of God of War about it, but there's a lot of different games mashed up inside here, and we're not complaining. There's RPG-lite elements and less button mashing than you'd imagine, but some of the balancing needs improvement before release. Guitar Hero Greatest Hits preview Xbox 360
Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits is a nice mid-year top-up for Guitar Hero fans. With the tracks from Guitar Hero 1-3 chosen by the fans, we've only ourselves to blame if our favourites aren't on here, and each one of them has been upgraded from guitar to full band layout, as per Guitar Hero World Tour. The game though uses the enhanced engine that we saw recently in Guitar Hero: Metallica. For more info, read the full Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits preview in this issue of 360Zine. Battlestations: Pacific review Xbox 360
Battlestations: Pacific is not the white knuckle ride that is Tom Clancy's HAWX, but there's room for two different takes on air combat sims, we think. There's more to Battlestations: Pacific than just air combat of course, and while the action is less frenzied than HAWX, there's a depth to the strategy that adds to the enjoyment.
